Word-of-Mouth existed BEFORE Social Media…

When our parents and grandparents were looking to find out who was the person they could trust to buy their next cow, or grain, or clothes, or car, they didn’t turn to the advertising in the local newspaper, the radio, or certainly not the TV.  They asked the people they trusted and had a relationship with.  It was simple.

People today lose sight of what is “foundational” and what is “leverage”.  Word-of-Mouth is a “foundational” element and has been around as long as mankind could talk.  It is the way business was always done.  “Who has the best of whatever you want to buy and who can be trusted to not just give you a good deal but stand behind what they sell.  This is the person that everyone wanted to do business with and they never wanted for more business.  Has anything really changed???

Social Media is perhaps the greatest invention for changing the way we buy products/services and communicate.  But it is simply the “pipes” and “channels” and method of how we communicate.  The core behind it all is still, and will continue to be, Word-of-Mouth.  This is what we talk about and what we spread to others.  Now we can just do it faster, at a lower cost, and more efficiently.  Please don’t lose sight of the core and what will never change – Word-of-Mouth.  If we always keep that in mind, we won’t be as distracted by all  the new “Shiny Objects” showing up every day.

One can line-up the best players with the best speakers for an out of
the world experience. With leading appliances companies manufacturing CD systems and other devices, consumers can have their pick according
to their pockets. Also, don’t forget to make the home page genre-specific to the music you like.

Hey would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m going to start my own blog in the near future but
I’m having a hard time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely
unique. P.S My apologies for getting off-topic but
    I had to ask!
